TALMA CERTIFID AS AN AUTHORIZED ECONOMIC OPERATOR BY SUNAT

• The leading company in airport services obtained this award after accrediting a satisfactory track record of compliance with current regulations, financial solvency and other factors.
• Talma aims to use this certification to further streamline the inbound and outbound goods operations of its importer and exporter customers.

The National Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) certified Talma -a leading airport services company- belonging to the Sandoval Group, as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), due to its operational excellence, important logistics work, high security standards and rigorous financial management.

The airport services company obtained this recognition after demonstrating a satisfactory track record of compliance with current regulations, an adequate system of accounting and logistics records for the traceability of operations, financial solvency and an outstanding level of security, which has allowed and continues to allow its customers, both direct and indirect, to ship and receive their products in a reliable and worry-free manner.

“This certification will further streamline all the necessary steps and procedures for the entry and exit of our importer and exporter customers' goods. This recognition reflects our commitment to strengthening Peruvian foreign trade and to support the Customs in their work of promoting and monitoring it" said Arturo Cassinelli, Talma's Corporate General Manager.

An AEO is a foreign trade operator or intervening operator, certified and endorsed by Sunat. Certification allows us to simplify our controls and procedures and streamline our international trade logistics chain without compromising security.

So far this year, Talma has received approximately 50 million kilograms of imported products and approximately 40 million kilograms of export cargo. In addition, Talma reinforces its commitment to promoting the professionalization of foreign trade by becoming one of the first temporary airfreight warehouses with AEO authorization at the national level.
