Talma expands its collaboration with Aerolineas Argentinas and will provide cargo services

Talma, a leading company in airport services in Latin America and part of the Sandoval Group, is expanding its collaboration with Aerolíneas Argentinas to international cargo operations at Jorge Chávez International Airport (AIJCH), from March 2024. The service will complement the company's ground handling services provided to the airline and will strengthen a commercial relationship that began in 1993.

Talma's cargo service comprises the comprehensive management and handling of the airline's air cargo operations in Lima, including general cargo, cold storage, temperature-controlled shipments, perishable goods, dangerous goods and high-value cargo, both incoming and outgoing.

“Aerolíneas Argentinas is an important strategic ally for us. We know the company very well, having worked together for seven years since the beginning of our commercial relationship in 1993. Now, since we resumed collaboration in 2022, we are very pleased to provide them with ground handling services and to expand our operations to include international cargo operations," says Talma's Corporate General Manager Arturo Cassinelli.

Aerolineas Argentinas operates one daily flight on the Buenos Aires - Lima - Buenos Aires route. Passengers will take off from AIJCH in Boeing 737-800 aircraft bound for Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP). About the airline: Founded in 1950, Aerolineas Argentinas is Argentina's leading air transport company. It currently operates to 40 domestic and 22 international destinations in 14 countries. In Peru, it operates seven flights a week from Lima to Buenos Aires.
