  • Talma obtained the highest score among the four bidders taking part in the tender process.
  • This award will allow Talma to renew the contract and continue as the main ground handling operator at Lima Airport until the beginning of 2033.

Talma, the leading company in airport services and member of the Sandoval Group, has been awarded the contract to provide essential ground handling services at Jorge Chavez International Airport (AIJCH) from December 2024 to January 2033. This consists of aircraft handling on the ground from arrival to departure, luggage transfer and other services.

The award means that Talma can renew its contract and remain the main service provider, as it is at present. Talma Servicios Aeroportuarios won the tender process after achieving the highest score for its technical proposal in the tender process, in which four bidders took part.

"After several months of hard work in a very rigorous and demanding process, we received the pleasant news that we had been selected as the winning bidder. We are happy to operate at AIJCH for another eight years. The main benefit of this measure will be to give continuity to the ground handling business and, therefore, we will continue to serve our customers and contribute to the development of the Peruvian airport sector," said Arturo Cassinelli, Corporate General Manager.

With more than 32 years of experience as a leading Airport Services company, not only in Peru but in four other Latin American countries, including Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico, Talma has successful operations at 50 airports.

"Being chosen as the winning bidder is a very important milestone for our organization. During this new period we have only one goal: to provide airport services to the highest international standards of safety, quality and operational excellence to all our clients, as we have been doing for more than 32 years," said Mr Cassinelli.
