World Cleaning Day

On the occasion of World Cleaning Day, more than a thousand volunteers joined to clean the Carpayo beach located in Callao.

 

Among them, there were many of our collaborators, who along with their family members joined this cause and helped collect thousands of microplastics and marine microbasura that could be ingested by different marine species causing them to die.

 

In total, a collection of 57 thousand kilos of garbage, tiny pieces and particles of degraded plastic, paper, wood, among other materials that pollute the coastal marine ecosystem was achieved.
