Talma Peru: leader in air logistics, handles more than 1.7 million kilos of cargo for international concerts in 2025

Concerts by Shakira, Guns N' Roses and Dua Lipa consolidated November as one of the busiest months of the year for logistics, with more than 752,000 kilos moved in Lima.

 

The year 2025 will be an exceptional year for the international entertainment industry in Peru and Talma, a leading airport services company in Latin America, member of the Grupo Sandoval, plays a key role in this dynamism. To date, Talma has managed the mobilization of more than 1,700,000 kilos of specialized import and export cargo for large-scale musical productions, strengthening its position as a benchmark for servicing large-scale musical productions in the region.

 

In this context, November has become one of the most intense months for operations, with more than 752,000 kilos of air cargo for concerts by Shakira (+500,000 kilos), Guns N' Roses (+71,000 kilos) and Dua Lipa (+181,000 kilos) moved into and out of the country. These operations include the handling of scenery, metal structures, LED screens, lighting systems, sound consoles and musical instruments, among other high-value and sensitive equipment that require highly specialized handling. The shows also include unique elements associated with each one, such as costumes, customized accessories, special props and unique staging components, the management of which requires an additional level of control and protection throughout the logistics chain. The processes are carried out under strict security protocols, with integral traceability and in coordination with the logistics operators in charge of the events and the cargo airlines responsible for air transportation, thus guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with established deadlines.

Throughout the year, Talma has provided logistics support to international tours by artists such as Alanis Morissette, Rüfüs Du Sol, The Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold, Marilyn Manson, Anthrax, Shawn Mendes, Stray Kids, System of a Down, Chayanne, Green Day and Linkin Park, in addition to the two operations carried out for Shakira, whose November presentation continues the work carried out in February 2025, as well as recent concerts by Guns N' Roses and Dua Lipa.
