Talma Peru led the handling of more than 431,000 kilos of air cargo for Bad Bunny's concert in Lima
The operation was carried out within extremely tight operating windows, which required rigorous planning, precision and coordinated work to ensure compliance with import and export deadlines.
The concert by Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny in Lima was not only a milestone for the international music scene, but also a highly complex air cargo operation, in which strict compliance with schedules and the correct sequencing of processes were crucial for the timely staging of the show.
In this context, Talma, a leading company in airport services in Latin America and part of the Grupo Sandoval, led the specialized air cargo handling associated with this international production, meeting the highest standards of safety, quality, efficiency and operational excellence, in line with its management model.
The operation involved handling more than 431,000 kilos of air cargo, covering both import and export flows for the international tour, originating in Santiago de Chile and continuing on to Medellín, Colombia. The service was provided through four charter flights, two inbound and two outbound, and was carried out in record time thanks to the deployment of a highly specialized team. The processes demanded rigorous execution and close coordination between the different actors involved in the operation at Jorge Chávez International Airport, together with the logistics operator Magusa and the cargo airline Atlas Air.
The cargo handled included large-format stage structures, lighting and video systems, high-definition screens and sound equipment, as well as special scenic elements, such as "La Casita" (the Little House), a complementary structure integrated into the show's design. Due to their high value and operational sensitivity, these components required specialized controls, detailed planning and continuous traceability throughout the process.
“Air cargo operations linked to international shows of this magnitude require rigorous planning, precise execution, and coordinated work among the various players in the airport system. At Talma we have optimized processes and highly trained teams that allow us to carry out this type of operation with high levels of performance and operational excellence", said Carlos García-León, Manager of the Cargo Business Unit of Talma Peru.
This operation marks the beginning of air cargo handling associated with international concerts in 2026, continuing the performance achieved in 2025, when Talma handled more than 1.7 million kilos of air cargo associated with international musical productions, reaffirming its position as the trusted strategic partner for the entertainment industry.
With a presence in more than 20 airports in the country, modern infrastructure, specialized technology and a highly qualified team, Talma maintains its leadership in specialized air cargo services, contributing to Peru's increasing importance as a destination for large-scale international shows.
