Talma, leading airport services company in Latin America and member of the Grupo Sandoval, has renewed its certification as a Foreign Aeronautical Maintenance Center (CMAE), granted by Chile’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), after successfully completing a rigorous international audit process with no findings of non?compliance.

This certification, initially obtained in 2019, allows the company to complement its authorization as an Approved Maintenance Organization in Peru (OMA 032), enabling it to continue providing maintenance services for aircraft registered in Chile.

The renewal corresponds to its fourth consecutive recertification process, conducted in accordance with the standards established by the Chilean aviation authority and aligned with DAN 145 regulations, equivalent to RAP 145 in Peru.

The audit process included a comprehensive review of its main base in Lima and its 19 Additional Fixed Units (AFUs) nationwide, demonstrating the robustness of its technical and operational processes, as well as its ability to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency in its aeronautical maintenance services.

“Successfully passing this process once again with no non?compliances reflects the consistency of our excellence standards and the commitment of our outstanding team to operational safety in every service we provide. This result reaffirms our ability to operate under international requirements and to continue strengthening our operations across the region", said Renzo Romano, OMA Business Unit Manager for Talma Peru.

With this re-certification, Talma bolsters its position as a regional provider of aeronautical maintenance services by operating under harmonized standards among aviation authorities in different countries and contributing to the continuity and reliability of its customers' operations.
