Talma obtains ISAGO certification for the seventh time and reaffirms its leadership in Latin America
The company renews IATA international certifications as both Headquarters and for its Lima Station, strengthening the standardization of its operations across the region.
Talma, a leading airport services company in Latin America and a member of the Grupo Sandoval, has once again obtained the ISAGO certifications (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations), granted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), both at the Headquarters level and for its Lima, Peru Station.
With these recertifications, the company achieves this international standard for the seventh time since 2010, after meeting IATA’s demanding evaluation requirements, which include more than 2,000 technical and operational criteria, and which comprehensively analyze its operational processes, policies, and procedures under strict operational safety, quality, and efficiency guidelines.
Certification for the Headquarters establishes the corporate framework that guides the execution of operations in the countries where Talma is present, ensuring consistency in the application of its processes and standards. This recognition supports the performance of its certified stations in Lima (LIM), Quito (UIO), Guayaquil (GYE), Cali (CLO), Medellin (MDE), Bogota (BOG), Mexico City (MEX), and Felipe Angeles International Airport (NLU).
The certification for Lima station confirms correct execution of critical processes in disciplines such as Organization and Management, Training, Cargo and Mail Handling, Baggage Handling, Ramp Handling, Passenger Handling and Load Control, ensuring an operation aligned with the best international practices for aircraft, passenger and cargo services.
