Talma Peru renews CBTA Provider and CBTA Corporate certifications for its excellence in dangerous goods training

+

•    Talma Training School (TTS), a specialized unit of Talma Peru, is the only school in the country certified by IATA to train both its employees and companies in the airport sector in the transport of dangerous goods.

Talma, the leading company in airport services in Latin America and part of the Grupo Sandoval, has again received CBTA Provider and CBTA Corporate certifications issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), for compliance with the training provisions of the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).

The CBTA Provider certification recognizes the Talma Training School (TTS) as the only school in the country authorized by IATA to offer specialized courses to companies in the airport sector on air transport of dangerous goods, under the Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) approach.

The CBTA corporate certification accredits Talma Peru's internal training program for its employees in the handling of dangerous goods, also aligned with the CBTA model and complying with technical and safety standards established by IATA.

“We are extremely proud to receive these new certifications, which reaffirm the quality and excellence of our services as the leading airport operator in Peru. Our commitment to a safe and efficient operation includes the continuous training of our teams," said Arturo Cassinelli, Talma's Corporate General Manager.

This achievement reflects Talma's sustained commitment to the continuous development of its teams' skills and to strengthening the performance of the airline industry through the implementation of high-quality training programs in dangerous goods, aligned with the CBTA model and the highest industry standards.

Talma Peru also has several international certifications issued by IATA that endorse its world-class standards, including: Smart Facility, which validates compliance with the conditions required for handling general cargo, dangerous goods, live animals, perishable goods, pharmaceutical cargo and mail; CEIV Lithium Batteries, which recognizes safe management in the transport of lithium batteries; CEIV Fresh, focused on perishable products; CEIV Pharma, which ensures the handling of time- and temperature-sensitive products such as medicines and vaccines; and ISAGO Station and ISAGO Provider certifications, which drive standardization and compliance with operational and safety management procedures globally.
